Shipping and returns

General

All delivery charges are based on Dutch postage prices and additive to your order. The exact costs will be found on the receipt. MexWorld aims to ship (i.e. hand over your package to the postal service) within 72 hours after we have received the payment, unless mentioned otherwise at the website. Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays in the Netherlands.

Within The Netherlands, the postal service usually delivers the parcels within 1 day (from Monday to Saturday). For international orders transit times vary with destination, but 7 business days is a good estimate. Because validation of your details may take an extra day or two, please allow a margin. You can speed up the process by accurately filling in your personal details. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Shipping costs

The website calculates the shipping costs based on the total weight of the products, including packaging and the specified shipping address.

All shipping costs include tax (BTW).

For orders under €15 an additional €3.50 is charged for administration and handling.

Returns

If for some reason the product you ordered is out of stock, you will receive an e-mail from MexWorld with a new deliver date. In this case, you have the right to cancel your order by sending a written statement to orders@mexworld.nl. All payments made will be reimbursed within 14 days.

You can send back the product within 7 days, after receipt of the products, at your own expense. No administration costs will be charged and payments will be reimbursed within 14 days after having received the returned products. Products that have been ordered on special request can not be returned. Fresh products and products that have been opened or damaged can not be returned.

For all returns, please make sure to include in your written statement your order number and the reason of the return. Send it to us by e-mail to orders@mexworld.nl.

A claim due to transport damage

MexWorld can not be held responsible for damages due to transportation. In case a you chose a shipping method with insurance, you are eligible for compensation from PostNL, with a maximum of € 500.

Addressing

Please remember that you must mention your complete and valid shipping address while registering and/or placing orders. If the address is incomplete or invalid, the package might not be able to be delivered to your door. In the situation a package is returned to MexWorld due to incomplete or invalid shipping information, we will contact you and ask you for the correct shipping information and re-ship the package. The new shipping costs will be charged to you. Alternatively, you can cancel your order and we will refund your money, excluding the shipping cost and any fresh products that were part of your order. So please double check your postal code, street name, house number, city and, if applicable, state and building name or number.
